Any one else purchased these? How do they fit, sound, and how difficult is the installation?

The dash speaker isn't too bad if you take one of the seats out so you can lay on your back and reach up from under the dash. I didn't think about going through the glove box but if I had with my luck I'd be buying another liner afterward.
If you decide to mount speakers in the door, use some XTC or Boom Mat baffles and that'll keep moisture off of them. Matt, if that speaker you linked is by Custom Autosound I've got one. I had to stack washers between the bracket and dash to space it down some for it to fit. It was a half inch or so too high against the dash as it was. However, I don't know if I bought the right speaker. My car was an A/C car and I can't remember which one I bought but I don't know if the mount was different or just the speaker size that'll fit.

I went with the custom kick panels that have an integrated speaker. I want to preserve the character of the car so I chose the most stock looking panels I could find. The speaker fits right where the old vents used to be and I like the look.
![]() The rear speakers are small 4" speakers which I am limited by because I have a ragtop. Not much room in there and I had to make some custom spacers but again, they are inconspicuous. In this picture the spacers look a bit sloppy which I have corrected since taking this picture. ![]() And finally, I put a small infinity basslink sub in the trunk. It fits way underneath in the back so it is out of the way. Sorry, no pics of the sub but it is very small but still pushes enough air to supplement the smal rear speakers. |

These are for non a/c and are for a 68. They are still in the car as the others just arrived yesterday. PM me your email and I will take some pics of them in he car if they are what you need.
