Thanks Joe. I just sent a few more to Clint. I bought a new digital camcorder/camera and the pics look like $hit.
The video interviews turned out crystal clear. Joe, PM me your address and I will send you a memory stick of the whole event as I know you are into these cars. Thanks. Dave

Thanks motionwannabe. It is quite a site when you actually see it happen. Just the way he walked around the car. You could tell his mind was spinning a thousand miles a second. His son in law said for the past couple weeks this was all he could think of. He told me "This is Frank's day."
Elvis, I think the tire must make it real stable? I mentioned that to Frank as well, and he just laughed. ![]() Thanks fo rposting the pics Joe. Last edited by motionvette; Nov 3rd, 09 at 05:38 AM. |

I am trying to make out what is on the back panel of the car and back bumper?
Maybe a Fred Gibb emblem or decal? So far the original owner info on the 67 Yenkos have said there was no Yenko ID on the cars. The 68-69 Yenko emblem was not used in 1967. The bumper jack sceen looks familar. I have seen it at midnight on the side of the parkway when people would uncork their headers.

Joe, the owner put the 427 numerals on there. The bumper sticker is so he could park in a lot where he was employed. Gerry Burford was at the Gibb dealership when I went there Sunday. He maintained the car. He also put the Grumpy gears in it. I asked him about a Fred Gibb emble or decal on new cars. He told me Fred did not believe in them and therefore did not use them. He gave jackets away normally. Frank gave me his, and it looks brand new. Very nice piece to display with the car. Gerry also asked me to open the trunk. It was the first thing he asked. I did, and he kind of smiled. He remembered Frank had put bolts ( which are still there ) with rerod. Frank put 60# of barbell weights on each side for traction.

Dave,
How much restoration does this Camaro need for you need to finish this car?

Val, look on page 4 of this thread. That is the car currently. It is in nice driver shape, however certainly deserves a restoration and bring it back to the black exterior/red interior. Kinda fun to drive as is!
